Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains cancellations and refunds for custom software, website development, mobile apps, IT consulting, integrations and maintenance supplied by Thurallis Digital Inc. We deliver digital services; physical shipping and product returns do not apply.

Effective / last updated:

1. Cancellation before work begins

If you cancel before we begin the agreed work, we refund the payment for that work in full. An advance payment is credited toward your project; it is not automatically non-refundable.

2. Cancellation after work begins

You may request cancellation while a project is in progress. After receiving your request, we stop new work as soon as reasonably possible and prepare an itemized account of the work already completed.

We refund the unearned balance of your payment after deducting completed work calculated using the agreed quote, milestones or rates, and non-recoverable third-party costs that you expressly approved and that were disclosed before payment. We provide the calculation in writing. We do not charge for work that was not performed.

3. Delivery problems and completed work

If a deliverable does not meet the agreed scope or acceptance criteria, tell us what is wrong and include the project reference. We will assess the issue and offer a reasonable correction or another appropriate remedy. If we cannot deliver an agreed part of the service, we refund the payment attributable to that unprovided part.

Work already delivered in accordance with the agreed scope is not normally refundable solely because you change your mind. This does not remove any remedy or refund required by applicable law.

4. Maintenance and ongoing services

Any billing period, renewal arrangement and cancellation terms for ongoing support or maintenance are provided before you pay. Recurring charges require your express agreement.

Where no specific cancellation arrangement was agreed, we refund prepaid, unused future service periods, subject to the completed work and approved costs described above. Cancellation does not create a charge for a new service period you did not authorize.

5. How to request cancellation or a refund

Use the email address or contact form below. Please provide the following so we can find the payment and review your request:

  • Your name and the email used for the project.
  • The invoice or project reference and payment date, if available.
  • The service concerned and the reason for your request.

6. Refund method and timing

We confirm the outcome and any refund amount in writing. Once a refund is approved, we aim to initiate it within five business days. Any shorter deadline required by law takes priority. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post it to your account.

Card refunds are returned through the payment provider to the original card and in the original transaction currency. Payments made by another method are returned through that original method where possible. If the original method is unavailable, we agree a secure alternative after verification.

We do not deduct a separate administrative refund fee. If your bank converted the original payment, its exchange rate or charges may mean that the amount in your account currency differs when the refund arrives.

7. Your statutory rights

This policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights, cancellation rights or remedies that apply to you, including any non-waivable protections in your place of residence. It does not require you to give up rights provided by your card issuer. A project agreement may specify additional cancellation arrangements disclosed before payment, but cannot remove rights that the law makes mandatory.
